OKONJIMA CLOSING DATES during the HOLIDAY SEASON!

Please note Either the Main Camp OR the Bush Camp - The Villa OR Bush Suite are closed during certain periods in December, January & February each year for maintenance and upgrading.

Please contact OKONJIMA to confirm closing dates.

MAIN CAMP will close:
21st DECEMBER 2007 until 31st JANUARY 2008. (Vacation break for all the staff - Bush Camp will be open).
Then again for MAINTENANCE:
9th February 2008 until 14th February 2008

Please note:
2008 – MAIN CAMP will remain OPEN in DECEMBER 2008
2009 – CLOSED 1st January 2009 – till the end of February 2009 for renovations and new building. First opening date will be 1st March 2009
2009/2010 – MAIN CAMP CLOSED as per usual – 22nd Dec '09 – 31 Jan '10
There will be no replacement tents at the Education Centre as stated in previous alerts.
Bookings can still be made for Bush Camp, Bush Suite or the Villa during the 4 months that MAIN CAMP will be closed.

BUSH CAMP will be open during the Christmas and New Year holiday time:
BUSH CAMP will be closed for maintenance:
16th FEBRUARY 2008 - 22nd FEBRUARY 2008

During 2008, 2 more rooms with wheelchair friendly access will be built at Bush Camp to bring the total number to 10 Chalets. More details to follow about these.

During the time BUSH CAMP is closed - we will be booking guests wanting to visit Okonjima in the 4 rooms at The Villa - at the BUSH CAMP rate.

Please note there are ONLY 4 rooms so first come - first serve. There will be NO exclusivity during this period, unless your group books out all 4 rooms.

The private BUSH SUITE: Has been booked out from the 1st of DECEMBER 2007 until the 2nd March 2008.

THE VILLA will not close this year, and if maintenance is needed we will fit it in between bookings.
