RESTRICTIONS:
Children under the age of twelve,
are regrettably not permitted at Bush Camp, Main Camp and the
Omboroko Campsite. Children under the age of 8 years old are
regrettably not permitted at The Villa or Bush Suite. This is
due to the nature of our activities.

SEASONS:
The Main Camp or Bush Camp are
closed during certain periods in December and January for
maintenance and upgrading.
Please note:
MAIN
CAMP CLOSES from 21st December until the end of January!
BUSH CAMP CLOSES from
the 3rd of February 2007 until the 8th of February 2007 and
then again on the 11th of February 2007 until the 19th of February
2007.
NB: PLEASE TAKE NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING POINTS!
In order to be in time for
the afternoon activities, a general guide for arrival times is
before 15h00 in winter and 16h00 in summer.
Viewing of leopards is NOT guaranteed, and leopards as
well as cheetahs within our
Rehabilitation area are radio-collared for monitoring purposes!
Leopards & Cheetahs that form
part of the welfare side of AfriCat ARE NOT COLLARED
Due to the
increasing numbers of tourism lodges holding cheetahs and
other wild animals in captivity for entertainment purposes,
Okonjima has decided to set an example to discourage this
activity by withdrawing cheetahs appearing on the lawn in front
of the lodge.
