The Okonjima Clan have done it again.
. .
Our new, Luxury Bush Camp Room, nestled amongst the original
chalets, has opened for peak season!
As you enter the room via
the wheel-chair friendly ramp - the wide open spaces of Africa
and Okonjima’s Omboroko Mountain range, is the view that
grabs you – a reminder of why most leave the hustle and bustle
of the modern world - for the African Bush!
This spacious & luxurious 9th
room with a very practical design,
- boasts a 180-degree
view through a glass sliding door in front of the 2 Queen-size
beds, as well as large glass windows to the 'east and west' of
the beds.
- # 9 offers a comfortable, en-suite
lounge with fire-place.
- Our spacious bathroom includes
a large shower able to accommodate a wheelchair, a bath and toilet/bidet
'with a view', 2 basins & vanity area... and just to add
a special touch to your stay, an outside 'bush' shower invites
an enjoyable, African experience!
- And last but not least,
a verandah furnished with comfortable bush-loungers provides
the perfect spot to view that inevitable African 'sunrise' ...
Once again, the Okonjima Team has
used modern (trendy) 'bush-veldt, greens & old-silver' … the
en-suite bathroom in 'gun-metal grey & white'.
The ceiling and outside walls are covered in Okonjima sand and
desert marble-dust.
- The mini-bar, coffee station
and prep-basin are in a separate, en-suite room, so that the hum
of the fridge does not disturb the 'sounds of the bush'
- roof-fans,
a lockable safe, an alarm & panic button as well as a telephone
to call reception, are all part of your comfort zone.
- This
room is booked for honeymooners, been-befores, VIP guests, 3
or more-nighters and Okonjima sponsors.
- Room 9 cannot be
pre-booked and Okonjima Management will decide who is placed
in this room,
- This luxury room can also act as a 3rd room
for a group of 6 pax who have booked the BUSH SUITE. (guests
will then eat at Bush Suite, which is ±350m away)
