The Africat Foundation welfare project - Guided
This guided tour offers you valuable insight into the work of Africat.
The Bushman Trail - Guided.
Experience a day in the life of a Bushman on the Bushman trail.
It constitutes an easy walking trail and is highly informative.
Walking trails through wilderness area - Self-guided
Trails up to 8km are available, made with varying degree of difficulty. Okonjima have positively identified over 250 bird species,which include most of Namibia's endemics.
PRIVATE CAMPSITE includes:
Two showers including hot water.
Two private flush toilets.
Under-cover scullery and dining area.
A sundowner viewpoint.
Fire wood is provided.
SWIMMING POOL:
One campsite swimming pool can be enjoyed by all campers.
ELECTRICITY:
One fixed spotlight per campsite for cooking and packing.
One plug point for the charging of fridges, cameras, cell phones etc.
OPTIONAL: (Pre-booking required - Limited availability)
Leopard/cheetah tracking in the 20 000ha Nature Reserve - Guided.
Additional cost = N$155.00 per person.
Meals - Dinner/Brunch/Lunch
Additional cost (Adult) = Dinner 200.00 per person / Brunch 150.00 per person / Lunch 120.00 per person.
Additional cost (Children 4-12yrs) = Dinner 120.00 per person / Brunch 100.00 per person / Lunch 95.00 per person.
PLEASE NOTE:
Camping includes the activity and not just the camping site.
Clients must provide there own food, drinks and all camping gear eg. tents,sleeping bags etc.
